I have some tragic news. Yesterday at broad daylight, both the landmark of the Great Standing Discarded Refrigerator and the beautiful monument of the Broken White Toilet were stolen from right under our noses. No one yet knows how and why these beloved landmarks were taken.
As you probably have guessed, right now I am kicking myself for not having gone to the police the other day when I noticed that someone had tampered with the beautiful Broken White Toilet. But there is nothing I can do about that now and just sitting here feeling bad and getting upset about it is not going do anyone any good.
At the moment I am still hopeful that our landmarks are going to be found and the perpetrators arrest. I will let you know as soon as I receive any more news on this.
Meanwhile those of you who had planned a trip to Oxford, I know that right now you are thinking ‘what’s the point of going on this trip anymore?’ but please do not run to your travel agencies to try and exchange your tickets. Yesterday Oxford suffered a great loss and in the weeks and months to come we will no doubt feel the effects of this on the tourist industry but please remember that Oxford still has many great places for tourists to enjoy.
O who am I kidding, without these two landmarks Oxford is nothing. Sigh.

My condolences my dear. But as they say, we must take the good with the bad.

I bet it has been the AL-Qaeda. Nothing is acred for terrorists!
I could send U the old broken chairs we have in the backyard plus a corroded grill if U think that might help alleviate ur pain :)
Be strong ;)

Reminds me of the time that I passionatley defended the existance of homeless junkies on the streets of San Francisco in front of my do gooder Father...
I like these landmarks...
I feel ur pain
But I am sure there are more of them in Oxford you just have to look for it...
Maybe not a refigerator or Toilet, but I donno a couch or a bed???
Be on the look out for them..

Thank you all for your kind words. What really gets me down about this whole thing is that since we decided to change our broken bathroom sink, all I could think was how great our entrance will look when we put the Broken Sink outside next to Broken Toilet. Maybe in time we could have found a discarded bath from somewhere as well and completed the set but alas it wasn’t to be.
